i write for a variety of reasons---for personal fullfillment, therapy, to share ideas, to see what i am truly thinking deep inside myself, and to make people think....

i am probably one of the most tender-hearted people you will ever encounter, and, yet, i am tough as steel

people often underestimate me....that is always a mistake

i am a life-long pacifist, who has a permit to carry, and i love my .357

i am tolerant and respectful of everyone, except people that hurt animals, children, and my family, and then i will show no mercy.....count on it

i work with energy, light, color, and prayer.......i work with tarot cads, angel cards, and icelandic runes

i no longer allow anyone or anything to get me down, or upset me, as that only leads to sad or negative energy, and no one needs that

i greet each new day as somethng fresh and wonderful......a new day has no mistakes in it, and contains endless possibilities for joy and growth

one of my grandfathers was a state senator, famous for his pro-labor and liberal views----the other grandfather was a millionaire, famous for his stable full of horses-----my grandmother by marriage was one of the people who promoted the himalayan breed of cat, so that it would be recognized as a new breed

my family was among a handful of people that were considered to be home school pioneers

i am a former competitive figure skater and swimmer

at one point, i was the lead singer in a soft-rock band, a 1940s style dance band, and a soloist in a choir...and, when i was not performing with one of them, i also did some radio shows...
